Getting to hornby

By car

Hornby Island can be reached by car by driving to the BC Ferry Terminal at Buckley Bay on Vancouver Island, approximately 1 hour north of Nanaimo. After taking the ferry to Denman Island, it's a short drive across to the Gravelly Bay Ferry Terminal, which will take you to Hornby Island. Eureka House is then less than 5 minutes from the Ferry Terminal on Hornby. The entire trip is about 1 hour. We recommend you purchase a BC Ferries Experience Card for reduced rates. Also, note that the last Ferry leaves for Hornby at 6:00PM except Fridays (9:30PM).
